William Donahue, M.S.W., L.C.S.W.

Bill DonahueMr. Donahue is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice.  His treatment method is eclectic encompassing Cognitive-Behavioral, Rational-Emotive and Psychodynamic approaches, as well as Systems Theory and Transactional Analysis.  Mr. Donahue will help clients with relationship problems, parenting, personal growth, anxiety, depression, life transitions, sex lives, adolescent problems, blended families and legal issues along with physical, sexual and emotional abuse.  In addition to his private practice, Mr. Donahue has been a Faculty Associate with the University of Maine, School of Social Work, The University of New England and Husson College.  He worked for many years at Bangor Mental Health Institute where he developed a nationally recognized out-patient program and halfway houses. Mr. Donahue conducts workshops and seminars in Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Assessments/Management and Treatment of Sexual Offenders, Domestic Violence Risk Assessment, Violence Risk Assessment and Treatment of Personality Disorder.  His professional memberships include the National Association of Social Workers which recognizes Mr. Donahue as a Qualified Clinical Social Worker and Diplomat in Clinical Social Work.  He is also a Clinical Member of the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers and listed on the Guardian Ad Litem Roster of the Maine District & Superior Courts.  Currently Mr. Donahue has reduced his schedule to concentrate on risk assessment clients and report writing works only on Tuesdays.
